Review Would recommend to anyone

My husband recently presented at emergency with severe neck pain and inability to turn or nod his head. It turns out that he had meningitis. The hospital performed two CT scans, two MRI scans and a nuclear medicine inflammation scan. The cause of the meningitis was rare and I can’t help but think that if he had experienced this elsewhere he may not have survived. The hospital assigned a pathologist, neurosurgeon and ENT to him. They were thorough yet appropriately conservative in their diagnostic and therapeutic measures. Right from the emergency visit to his release the entire staff treated us both with kindness and respect while they earnestly searched for the cause of his illness. The hospital has excellent equipment and staff who coordinated to give us test results within minutes of completing the scans. I just can’t imagine how we could have received better treatment and I would recommend this hospital to anyone. As a side note, the specialists and even some nurses spoke excellent English, even in emergency. After a two week stay, we paid about $220 CAD which covered our portion after the national insurance coverage. We also elected to pay an extra $40 CAD per day for a 2 person room.
